How can you know that a reaction has achieved an equilibrium state?

Answer. At equilibrium state the concentration of the components do not change. When the reaction quotient Qc for a particular reaction is calculated, if the value of Qc is equal to Kc, it shows that reaction has achieved equilibrium state.
