Ans. VOLTMETER
An instrument used to measure potential difference across a circuit is known as voltmeter.
In order to measure voltage or potential difference, the positive terminal of the battery is connected to the positive terminal of the voltmeter and the negative terminal of the battery is connected to the negative terminal of the voltmeter. A voltmeter is always connected in parallel with the device across which the potential difference is to be measured.
