What are responsibilities of the Senate and National Assembly ?

Senate: The upper house of the parliament is called the Senate. It has 104 members. The members of the Senate elect chairman and deputy chairman to run the proceedings of the Senate. Any bill or law cannot be made part of the constitution without the approval of the Senate.

National Assembly: The lower house of the parliament is called the National Assembly. There are 342 members of the National Assembly (MNAs). To run the proceedings of the National assembly, there is a speaker and deputy speaker who are elected by the members of the National Assembly
