Both countries have fought three wars over Kashmir
The wars were in
1947-Stalemate
1965-Stalemate
1971-Pakistan signs treaty but still it was a stalemate but India had the upper hand so technical victory and not really defeated
1999-Stalemate but India took Kargil
Pakistan is around in the top 20 most powerful militaries
India is number 4
However, We see Pakistan in the Southern side with a powerful army..and uses the better F-16 Block 50/52 to counter the Su-30MKI's which the SU-30's still use out dated gear and it is a fat slug of an aircraft with a lot of Propaganda around it.
In the future, Pakistan and China would team up and for such? India won't stand a chance in Kargil and in the Punjabi regions.
India lacks logistics and lacks order from what I see, they rely a lot of technology and sometimes they lack in training....
Against a force of Pakistan and China, India's military power being best by the 3rd and the ~10-15-20th most powerful military in the world together while having( especially and more of China) would defeat India in a ground battle...
Indian Military lacks reliability and command structure...they are not as organized and sometimes they can allow logistics to get the better of them.
Pakistan has very little control over the South side..and that is there problem..but India won't attack them there....
They also have some problems as India in Logistics and such...but they has very good training pilots and such which can give a huge advantage over Indian pilots
