Why the reversible reactions do not go to completion?

Answer. The reversible reactions which have very small value of Kc never go to completion because these reactions attain equilibrium state on conversion of very less amount of reactants to products. The reaction mixture consists of almost all the reactants and amount of products is negligible. Amount of products does not increase because they react to form reactants.
