The world has changed its attitude towards China because China has made great progress within a short time in spite of facing many hardships.
Some have and some haven’t. That’s as true of attitudes towards China as it is to attitudes to Starbucks or the colour red.
However, having said that I do believe that many have changed their attitudes in a positive way.
China has been very patient with the US and Trump over the tariff idiocy - as have many other nations who had US tariffs slapped on them. This calmness and patience has shown many nations that China is not the threatening, blustering, cruel, monsterous country that Western media has painted it to be for decades.
It is instead, supportive of many nations that are too poor to improve the lot of their citizens, China is making it easier for them to engage in international trade by helping them build the necessary infrasturcture - something the Western nations could have done but they either didn’t want to or were incapable of seeing where any ‘profit’ could be extracted by doing so.
