Personification is a poetic device in which things and ideas are treated as if they were human beings. Having human attributes and qualities, they seem to be living among us. In this poem, the idea of Beauty has been personified. Beauty has been presented in the form of a living girl who is dancing and is ready to smile. Personification makes the idea seem solid so that we may understand and grasp it.
