You may want to have:

  • Teething rings to soothe teething gums
  • Small gauze squares to clean wounds
  • Hydrogen peroxide to clean wounds
  • Wound cream that is safe for newborns
  • Small bandages
  • Cool mist vaporizer for when baby has a cold
  • Oral electrolyte solution to be used as directed by your child's pediatrician for fluid replacement during diarrhea or vomiting
  • Baby Tylenol. Keep in mind that acetaminophen is the only pain reliever/fever reducer you should give your infant for the first six months of life.
