Ans. According to Coulomb's law
i F = k
'2 The Coulomb's force is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them, thus
(i) if we double the distance, the Coulomb's force will reduce to one fourth.
(ii) if we reduce the distance to half, the Coulomb's force will become four times.
