Ans. While measuring the current in a circuit, the polarity of the terminals of the galvanometer and the voltmeter should be taken under consideration. Generally, the terminal with-red colour shows the positive polarity and the terminal with black colour shows the negative polarity. Both galvanometer and ammeter are connected in series.
