Ans. The electrical energy can be utilized for different useful purposes. For example, bulb converts electrical energy into light and heat, heater and iron convert electrical energy into heat, and fans into mechanical energy. Usually, this energy appears as heat in the resistance. This is the reason that we get heat when current passes through a heater.
