Ans. BINARY VARIABLES
Such things which can have only two possible states are known as binary variables.
For example, a switch has only two possible states. It could be either open (OFF) or closed (ON). Similarly, a given statement would be either true or false. The states of binary variables are usually represented by the digits 'O1 and '1'.
