Ans. In order to use oscilloscope as a voltmeter, switch OFF the time base and connect the voltage to be measured to the Y-input terminals.
The input of CRO (i.e. internal resistance between Y-input terminals) is very high, typically several million ohms. This makes the oscilloscope very nearly an .ideal voltmeter.
