A robot must be intelligent. The intelligence is provided by programmers in the form of instructon. The instructons as a whole make a program. The program tells a robot what to do, when to do, and how to do something. This type of intelligence is called artfcial intelligence (AI). All robots have artfcial intelligence. Computers can already solve problems in limited realms. The basic idea of AI problem-solving is very simple, though its executon is complicated) First, the AI robot or computer collects facts about a situaton through sensors or human input, the computer compares this informaton to stored data and decides what the informaton signifes.
