Lepromatous leprosy is a more severe form of the disease. It has widespread skin bumps and rashes (called multibacillary leprosy), numbness, and muscle weakness. The nose, kidneys, and male reproductive organs may also be affected. It is more contagious than tuberculoid leprosy.
