In the secondary stage of syphilis, you'll get a skin rash and mucous membrane sores. The rash can be on one or more areas of the body and usually does not itch. Sometimes the rash is so faint that you don't notice it. You may also have a fever, swollen lymph glands, a sore throat, patchy hair loss, headaches, weight loss, muscle aches, and fatigue.
