Most genital warts will disappear without treatment, so your doctor may choose to do nothing. But you'll still have the virus that causes the warts and can pass it to sex partners.
The first choice to treat them are freezing the warts or applying medication directly to them. If that doesn't work, you may need surgery to remove them.
