It uses X-rays and computers to produce images of inside of your body. A contrast dye injected into your veins help highlight your body structure.

You lie still on a table during the imaging. You may be asked to hold your breaths for short bursts of time while the X-rays are taken. A radiologist examines the results.

After the test is performed the results are reviewed by a radiologist.
