Beware of products from telemarketers, direct mailings, infomercials, or ads disguised as news articles or in the back of magazines. Don’t trust MS "cures" or other outrageous claims. Be wary of products offered through only one manufacturer. Make sure all active ingredients are listed, and don’t trust "secret formulas." Beware of universal praise, especially if you see or hear "paid endorsement." And be wary of testimonials by people who are listed only by initials, locations, or first names
