The breathing becomes rapid and deep after exercise. Why?

Ans:When you exercise you use more oxygen for cellular respiration and thus more carbon dioxide is produced, therefore you need to get more oxygen into your body and remove excess CO2 produced. So you breathe fast and that raises your breathing rate. When you finish exercising it takes a time to remove the excess of CO2 in the blood.
