Milk is a colloid. This is because
1. If appears to be a homogeneous mixture but actually it is a heterogeneous mixture.
2. Particles do not settle down for a long time. Therefore, it is quite stable.
3. Particles are large but cannot be seen with naked eye.
4. Although particles are big but they can pass through a filter paper.
5. It shows a Tyndal effect.
