A metre rule is one metre long graduated stick.It is used to measure the length of an object or distance between two points.A metre rule is divided into 100 equal parts ,each part is equal to one centimetre.Each centimetre is further divided into 10 millimetres.Thus a metre rule can measure the length of an object correct upto one millimetre.
