What were the causes behind the partition of Bengal?

Population of Bengal included the Hindi speaking regions of Bihar. The oriya speaking regions of Orrisa as well as Assamese speaking region of Assam, making it a huge entity. Moreover the capital Calcutta was the capital of entire British India. Thus Lord Cruzon decide to address this problem by partitioning Bengal.
