Because of being the center of Islam and the Muslims, peaceful bilateral relations with this region have always been the basis of foregion policiy of Pakistan. After the discovery of petroleum this whole region prefered Pakistan for the required manpower. this resulted in futher strengthening of economic ties between Pakistan and Middle East.
