Atmosphere extends to a large scale in height. Due to heavieness of air, the air pressure is large at the lower surface of atmosphere. This pressure decreases on height. It is a cause tha tair pressure is large on sea and small on mountains. The air pressure on mountains can be found if we know the air pressure both at the foot and peak of mountain.
