Last Sunday was a very exciting and interesting day for us. There was a cricket match between the Lion’s Club and the Tiger’s Club. I, with $ome of my friends,
planned to watch it. We reached the stadium in time.
There was a great rush of the people. There was a great hustle and bustle. Everyone looked happy and gay. We got seats with great difficulty. Policemen were standing at proper distances. They were controlling the mob. The chief minister was also coming to watch the match. Many hawkers and vendors were also there. They were carrying and selling their things.
“It is not important who starts the game but who finishes it”.
At exact 9am. The match started. The Lion’s club took a brilliant start after winning the toss. Its opener’s laid and solid foundation of 112 before being parted. Ahmad was in the top and hammered the Tiger’s bowlers. He scored a dashing 85 in only 86 deliveries which included eight fours and three sixes. He was at last caught by Abuzar when he was attempting another hit. The tiger’s fielders were not active enough. They dropped even the easy catches quite often. The Lion’s scored magnificent 333 runs and impressed the spectators with their strokes.

The Tiger’s in reply were dismissed for 220. Some of their players cut o sorry figure. Only Abuzar and Abid played brilliantly and delighted the people with their strokes and a couple of towering sixes.
